Ivory Creek Farm

BOARDING
Here at Ivory Creek, the health and happiness of the horses is our first priority.

Boarding Options:

Full Care Board: Full care board includes two feedings per day with hay and grain (and supplements when provided), turnout, blanket changes, nightcheck, daily stall cleaning, and scheduling for farrier and vet.

Training Board: Training board includes all perks of full care board plus 5 training rides and or lessons per week that are specifically tailored to each customer's needs.

Note: We do not offer Pasture Board.

Feed:
Our current feed provider is KBC, who supplies us with their own blended feed and Hallway Feeds. Supplements are provided when supplied, daily. Grain is fed twice daily.
We feed an orchard grass mix 2-4 times per day depending on your horses needs, as well as alafalfa to those who need some extra calories.
In the winter months, hay is supplemented in the fields. In addition to morning and evening feeds, we provide daily night check with additional hay.
Turnout:
Turnout is approximately 12 hours in the pastures, broken into small groups.
We provide two all weather paddocks that are rotated 3 times per day when the fields are unsafe due to mud/ice. With this rotation schedule, all horses are able to have access to turnout when the fields are unaccessible.

Riding:
Our arena is open at all times to all boarders. We are happy to share lesson times with you if you wish to avoid, or ride during the lessons. The arena does have lighting for the winter evening hours.

All boarders are encouraged to take lessons, but it is not a requirement.

Equiment:
Each boarder at the Upper Barn will recveive a tack locker for all belongings. Boarders in the Lower Barn are given full access to the tack room, with space for trunks. We also offer a blanket room for storing your horse's clothes.
